SPSS Tutorial: How to compare pretest and posttest results for small sample groups (less than 30 people)?
Abstract︰
In social services, if you want to compare the pretest and posttest results of a small sample of participants (less than 30 people). For example, after participating in group counseling or mindfulness programs, whether there is a significant change in the participant's level of depression, happiness, or quality of life. The Wilcoxon signed-rank test is the nonparametric counterpart to the paired-samples t-test and can help compare the means of two measurements of the same population in small samples.
